Would that matter to you ?

I participated in the LiveStrong Challenge 2008 and they did chip timing. This year they informed us they will not be tracking the timing.

While I recognize this is to raise awareness and $$ for cancer, I also think the challenge of participating in the 5K and receiving your results is important and fun to the participants.

Is there any way to track the timing and get results posted, even if unqualified?

Your thoughts?

Inner to Mid Upper Leg Pain. I need Some Advice?

I have been running for some time- and my usual weekly routine is about 20-25 miles/week .

I am experiencing this inner/mid upper right leg muscle pain for about a week. I thought it would work itself out and continued to do some stretching and run, but it remains and I don't want to push it. I tried some adductor muscle stretching, however, I am not sure it is only grion pain and it seem more in the upper mid region of leg. Some pain when walking and if I stand just on right leg I can almost point to area of mid upper leg where it seems to be.

Since I am able to walk and run with some pain, I figure this isn't too serious and will work itself out.

Anyone experience this or have any suggestions for getting myself back ? I am off my routine and that does not feel good (as you all know!)

Thanks.

Message was edited by: LiveHope

I tried to do a 3 mile run this evening, but the pain remains. As I run more the pain seems to be less ? If I sit, there is no pain. if I put all my weight on the right leg, I feel some mild pain.

This is going on about two weeks. I am registered for a local 5K on Sunday, however...I don't know whether I should push it. I am doing some mild stretches and hope it works its way out.

If not, I guess I will have a sports doc give it a check? It is frustrating!

I appreciate all comments ! I can relate to this. I have been experiencing some soreness and thought it was groin muscle. I figured it would work itself out and kept running, however, the soreness remained. At this time, I have decided to hold the running (and I also hate missing days) and do some stretching and perhaps apply some heat for a few days and see if things are better.

Keep me posted as to how you are doing.
