      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:2bb29611-f8bb-416d-966f-624c99eb366c] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Your doctor gave some good advice.&amp;#160; Fiber is definitely a helper when it comes to constipation and bloating, and the best place to get fiber ... fruits and veggies!&amp;#160; Most americans don't eat enough.&amp;#160; As a vegetarian, fruit/veg are a huge staple and I rarely feel bloated, and I extremely regular.&amp;#160; A list of staples I always have on hand: apples, berries, avocados, spinach, and carrots.&amp;#160; Second, as far as grains go, stick with the least processed as possible, anything that is 'white' has been stripped of all the good stuff that grabs the bad stuff in your intestines.&amp;#160; Your doctor also mention water intake, nothing bad to say there.&amp;#160; Water helps fiber do it's thing in your digestive tract.&amp;#160; Breakfast keeps me on track too.&amp;#160; For example,&amp;#160; I mix grape nuts and kashi go lean cereal together with soy milk (cow's milk doesn't agree with me), add bluberries, and have 2 strips of veggie bacon.&amp;#160; Or for bigger workout days, saute 2 cups of spinach, 1 piece of whole wheat toast w/ a teaspoon of all fruit jelly, 4 strips of veggie bacon, and 1 grapefruit.&amp;#160; With either breakfast, I eat about 1.5 hours before my workout, drink at least 2 glasses of water, and guaranteed I'm cleaned out before I hit the pavement.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Secondly, you said you were always hungry.&amp;#160; After workouts, chocolate milk (or soy milk) is an excellent recovery drink, and I eat hummus and a couple crackers, or string cheese and apple.&amp;#160; A little protein will help recover muscles and keep hunger at bay.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I worked with a sports nutritionist last season, and I noticed after a couple little tweaks (as mentioned above), things went back on track.&amp;#160; Good Luck!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:2bb29611-f8bb-416d-966f-624c99eb366c] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:998032b9-e1e6-4575-b3c7-ee262fb40307] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I know this thread came a bit ago, but I think something positive needs to be said of Gatorade Endurance - which should not be confused with it's inferior cousin "Gatorade found at Walmart".&amp;#160; Prior to the switch of Gatorade's levels (1,2, 3), you could get it from various online outlets, REI, etc, now I think it is exclusive to GNC and Dick's Sporting Goods, and found under the name of Gatorade Pro or Elite, or something along the lines of that.&amp;#160; The powder form allows the user to monitor sweetness, and in fact has lower calories than its counterpart, and higher sodium and potassium levels (yay for electrolytes).&amp;#160; I like it because with my diet, my potassium levels are really low (bananas make me gag), and Gatorade Endurance has the highest level I found as compared to other drinks.&amp;#160; I am drinking Hammer's Heed at the moment, and while easy on the tummy, I still feel something is missing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:998032b9-e1e6-4575-b3c7-ee262fb40307] --&gt;</description>
