I recently was told by a relative I should try running as I was looking for a sport or hobby to kill some free time. Ironically my wife supports lifeline of ohio and they had a 5k that weekend. I figured with no prior running if I could atleast finish I'd look into running seriously I ended up running a 20:16 and placed 27th I'm 24 145lb 6' didnt run in highschool or college but enjoy playing watching sports. With some training what kind of times are feasible and what kind of mileage and speedwork should I be doing?
