My name is Ragan Cain and I give private and group lessons in Sugar Land at the Imperial Park Softball Fields. I have put a few things down about myself and my lessons. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call, text, or email me. My information is below.

Some Highlights from my Career:

*Played D1 softball for both Mississippi State and Texas State

*Was named Pitcher and Player of the Year in 2008 with the Southland Conference

*Was named Newcomer and Pitcher of the Year in 2007 with the Southland Conference

*Was awarded a Full RIde to both Texas State and Mississippi State

*Won the 5A Texas State Championship in 2004 with Elkins High School

*Was named 5A State MVP in 2004

*Was named NCAA All American in 2004

Pitching lessons for girls who are beginners, intermediate, and advanced in their skills. Pitching lessons are given by myself, Ragan Blake. I graduated from Elkins in 2004 and in that year helped lead my team to State and National title for 5A. I was named NCAA All- American that year and also named 5A State MVP. After High School I left to go to Mississippi State University and after two years transferred back to Texas State University. I was named Newcomer and Pitcher of the Year in 2007 and was also name Player and Pitcher of the Year in 2008.

I teach the girls how to pitch using their leg drive, arm speed, and wrist snap. I know all pitches like: fastball, change up (more than one), peel off drop, turn over drop, rise, curve, drop curve, and screwball. I try and teach the girls how to feel what they are doing wrong and how to mentally be prepared for high school and college.

Lessons are given on Monday and Thursday nights. First lesson begins at 5:00 and the last one begins at 8:00 pm . The lessons are given behind field 4 at the Imperial Softball fields (in the pitching lanes). The groups have between 3 and 5 in each session and each girl pays only $25 an hour.

My name is Ragan "Blake" Cain and I am currently doing group pitching lessons in Sugar Land at Imperial Park. I have four girls in each group and charge $25 for each girl. I have added a new night starting this next week. I will now be doing pitching lessons on both Monday and Thursday nights. The first lesson will start at 5:00 pm and the last one will start at 8:00 pm. These are group lessons that last one hour. The times slots are filling up fast, so please get with me if you are interested in lessons.

My name is Ragan Cain, formerly known as Ragan Blake. I graduated from Texas State University in 2008. I have been giving lessons to girls since 2006 and loving every minute of it. I truly enjoy teaching girls how to pitch and pass on all the knowledge that I know about pitching and softball. I have a few openings and I would love to add your daughter to my schedule. The La Porte Storm Gold program is looking for a pitcher. We would like a pitcher that is ready to take the mound and dominate! We have our schedule made for the summer and are going to Qualifiers and Showcase Tournaments. Our number one goal is to showcase your daughter and help her to reach her goal and get to college.
