Did anybody see this. Florida's Chandler Parsons hit a 75 footer at the buzzer in overtime to knock off nc state 62-61.

Among the undefeated teams, I must say Kansas still looks like the best team in the nation. Texas and Kentucky are real good, I just dont think they are quite as good as Kansas. John Wall might be the best freshman in the nation, but Xavier Henry is a beast for the Jayhawks. Perdue is unbeaten but not on the level of the top three teams.

As of right Now, Kansas is at the right spot atop the rankings.

Big upcoming games

St. Patricks has a big upcoming game against Findlay in 2 weeks, should be a true test. Can Findlay make up for its loss against Norland?

Speaking of Norland, they play Oak HIll on Jan. 16, can Norland knock off two teams whos only loss last year came when Findlay beat Oak Hill in the season finale last year?

These are just two big games to keep your eye on in the upcoming weeks.

Top teams in the new Year

Findlay and Oak Hill both have losses on their resume, there seems to be a changing of the guard in the high school ranks. St. Patricks of New Jersey looks like one of the top teams thusfar. Columbus Norland beat Findlay but have only played 3 games, but still must be considered near the top. Dematha is again off to a great start. West Chester shoewed their talent by beating Oak HIll despite having two losses.

He looks like he was in some serious pain on that. What did he think was going to happen. He clearly did not plan that out too well.

Iverson comeback starts tonight. South Philly will be crazy tonight. Im predicting 36 points, 10 assists and 4 steals as Iverson leads the sixers to a 103-96 win.

Harrison Barnes is the number one recruit in the nation from Ames Iowa. Hes going to UNC and looks to win another state title. Ill say Brandon knight out of Pine Crest (FL) is the best player in the class. He won the Gatorade National player of the year as a junior.

Hard to believe the new basketball season is upon us. Who is the most talented team out there? Findley Prep brings back another great team, same with oak hill. Watch for Milton GA. They return alot of talent. St. Elizabeth and St. Patricks new jersey always have strong squads as well.

he had an Interesting way of committing to UNC, something i have never seen before. He made his announcment by Using the computer program Skype, which is like a video conference, and connected with Roy Williams and the rest of the UNC team over the computer. pretty creative.

The sixers have the best and classiest jerseys in the league. Some of those are hideous, like the checker and pinstribe bobcat uni.
