      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:1cb8fb25-92fd-45cd-8931-17831c315500] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;45 y/o, still in the military.&amp;#160; I run (1) because I have to, (2) I really enjoy eating, so I run to offset that, (3) it is encouraging to see the results.&amp;#160; Over the past few years I have increased my mileage, dropped about 12 pounds (and 2-3 inches), and decreased my overall run times.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I am currently training toward the Minot ND marathon in April 08 and am looking at the Fargo run in May 08.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm not concerned with personal best times, at least not yet.&amp;#160; I like the feeling of just completing a run, possibly encouraging someone else to step out and accomplish that too.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; It's always great to see some "first time" runners out.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We have been doing a 6.5 mi perimeter run at our base, twice a month.&amp;#160; We have a bunch of "regulars" out, I appreciate them always showing up; but the first timers, being able to share in their sense of accomplishment is something else.&amp;#160; No one can ever take that away from them.&amp;#160; My personal run time doesn't matter on those days, it's about starting as a team and not leaving anyone behind.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That's why I run now.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:1cb8fb25-92fd-45cd-8931-17831c315500] --&gt;</description>
