This was my very first tri-event. I did not know what to expect. Those of you who are more experienced knew what should have been done. I was disappointed there was no water or anything at the finish, and there was supposed to be something special for first-timers. I never got anything. I did almost run over a little kid when I crossed the finish line so I can see where crowd control could have been better.

I did appreciate #35 encouraging those who were not finished yet - I saw her twice on the run course giving kudos to us slower ones. I saw and received encouragement from others too, I just didn't get their #'s. From what I have read, my next tri experience should be better?
