My PT has been doing some trigger point massage on my quad.&amp;#160; So far it hasn't gotten any better.&amp;#160; Runner's knee - supposedly.&amp;#160; I've been off of it for over 2 months now but it doesn't seem like it is getting any better.&amp;#160; He told me to go see a sports doc for another diagnosis.&amp;#160; He also told me to do some hip abductor exercises for the next 6 weeks or so.&amp;#160; I can't seem to locate any sensitive areas in the quad myself but when the PT does massage it, he can seem to find a few.&amp;#160; Not sure what to do anymore.&amp;#160; I just want to get back into being active!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:8145f4fe-3523-4cd9-a5a9-a695abc255c1] --&gt;</description>

      <title>Quads Weak / Knee Hurts</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:9def7750-a421-431c-84ac-e06c3226de42] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hi There,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I realized that my left quad is significantly weak compared to my right knee which may be the cause of my knee pain in my left knee.&amp;#160; I've been given some quad strengthening exercises but when I actually try to do the strengthening exercises, my knee hurts!&amp;#160; I think my quad is very very weak and can barely the exercises.&amp;#160; Seems like a circular issue.&amp;#160; Quads weak, therefore knee hurts, but quad exercises hurt knee.&amp;#160; So, should I still try to do the exercises even though they hurt my knees?&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Some of the exercises have been leg lifts which seem ok.&amp;#160; But the squats hurt quite a bit.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;How do I strenghten my quads when it hurts my knees?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:9def7750-a421-431c-84ac-e06c3226de42] --&gt;</description>
