Unless you know that you will be into tri for a long time

to come.. You can just rent it from your friendly tri shop..

Can't give much advice for your training since I'm also new to this sport also. Most important have fun and enjoy the process.

Cheers...

Hi,

The pain is located near to the thumbnail just above wrist. That is where I apply most of the pressure during cycling.

It is felt after at least 2 hours after riding, generally it will go away after 1 or 2 days. Sometimes I do experience the numbness

you mentioned in type 2.

I don't usually wear gloves during riding. What kind of gloves would you recommend?

I would change my bar tape once it's start to wear out or get dirty.

Thanks for pointing out on the last portion, I usually ride most of the time with my hands straighten. Maybe this could be one of the cause

that you mentioned. I will try to bend my hand during riding to see if its help with the conditions.

I will update again when I get into my long riding..

Thank alot for the valuable sharing
