As of now Kobe still is the better player. 4 rings, an MVP trophy, 2 scoring titles, and a 7-time All-Defensive First Teamer, Melo's accolades compare nothing to that. Because Melo was drafted the same year as LeBron he may never win MVP or a NBA Championship. Kobe was titled "The Next Jordan" before LeBron entered the league, Melo has never been mentioned in that discussion.

In a few years the answer may be different, but its Kobe over Melo for now.

Yao is too injury prone. Don't forget at one point Shaq was the most dominant center in the league, Yao has never even been close to that. And even though Yao is younger he's still facing a career ending injury. Most people that are that tall dont have very long lifespans, kind've like Andre the Giant.

Shaq not only has destroyed multiple backboards, but is/was one of the most entertaining players in the league.

Shaq > Yao.

I cant tell you for sure, but I've heard that before. I've worn them before and they definitely help leg strength.

If you want to take a chance and use them, Im sure they'll help

The whole NBA should retire 23, just like all of baseball should retire 42 for Jackie Robinson. LeBron even got Jason Richardson to say he'd be willing to change numbers (Richardson also wears 23, if you didn't know.). I like that he's respecting the player that helped make the NBA the international sensation it has become, but I feel bad for the people who own LeBron's #23 jersey.

I'd go with either Reggie Miller or Larry Bird.

Yao and Shaq were also 2 good choices...
