I need some drills for passing that I can work on by myself. I have a warm-up drill for shooting. Start shooting about 30 minutes before you have a game and just shoot from the same spot, over and over again. You should probably get your touch and you won't lose it quickly. It's best used if you shoot from 3.

Click yes to my request to join the account.

Before you go to a game eat mashed potatoes (pota- = potassium), or potato salad. Also, bananas are the largest source of potassium in a fruit, so eat bananas. Don't forget that banana shakes are really good. Also, all the professional basketball players drink banana shake and protein shakes before and after games. try to get some sort of a thermos if you want to bring some mashed potatoes to eat.

Re: AAU?

The AAU (or Amateur Athletic Union) is an organization that sponsors amateur sporting events. The sports sponsored are: Athletics/Track and Field, Baseball, Basketball, Diving, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Martial Arts, Swimming, Trampoline/Tumbling, Volleyball, and Wrestling. In basketball, they sponsor spring, summer, and fall tournaments in multiple age groups. The age brackets are usually 19 and Under, 17 and Under, 15 and Under, and so on (except for the National Championship, which is every age group). It is possible to play up an age group (so if you are 15 you can play with the 17 year olds), but can not play down an age group ( so if your 15 you cant play with the 13 year olds). The tournaments are usually during "live" collge recruiting periods, so college recruiters heavily attend them. If you can find an AAU basketball team in your area, and it is an appropriate age group, it would be well worth your effort to try out for the program. But be careful and train a lot before you try out because it is extremely hard to make it on a top level team.

www.aausports.org

Information from:

http://www.breakthroughbasketball.com/blog/index.php/basketball-tips-how-to-get-a-basketball-scholarship/
