STILL TIME to sign up!! KLEIN OAK SOFTBALL SUMMER CAMP 6/5-7/2012

Starting June 1st, if you would still like your daughter to attend this great skills camp, you should not send in your sign up form and payment, rather, email me at chrisparris@sbcglobal.net with your intention to come, I'll put you down, and you can bring the filled out sign up form and payment with you to the camp on Tuesday morning!!

The Klein Oak Softball Booster Club will be hosting the 3rd annual Softball Camp at Burroughs Park June 5-7, 2012 from 9am to 1pm. All age and skill level softball players are invited to attend.

Head Coach Jav Vela will lead his staff of former and current Klein Oak Softball players during the 3 day camp, with all proceeds going to the KOSBC to support the Klein Oak Softball Program.

Jav has been coaching softball for over 25 years, leading the 1998 Panthers to the Class 5A Texas State Championship. He also coached the Texas Thunder of the Womens Pro Fastpitch League for 5 years, and was one of the original coaches to start the Impact Select Softball Program based in Spring, TX. Jav assists Mike Candrea, Head Coach of the University of Arizona and former Head Coach of Team USA with various softball camps held throughout the USA. Jav continues to be one of the most respected coaches throughout the softball community and has a unique ability to teach the game to aspiring athletes.

The camp will be set up in a manner to divide the attendees into smaller groups based on age and skill level. Each day will consist of various hitting and fielding techniques and drills, along with fundamentals key to excelling at the sport.

As of 6/1, please do not mail your sign up form in. Fill it out and bring it with you to camp on Tuesday morning with payment. However, contact Chris to let them know your daughter will be attending.
