Looking for races that have surveyed volunteers!

Hello running community!

I am a graduate student in a Master of Public Administration program with a concentration in nonprofit management, graduating in May. For my capstone project, I am conducting research on the volunteers for races, primarily marathons (with any other events), with the hope of creating a volunteer survey for a marathon in the midwest.

I am trying to find races that have surveyed their volunteers. I have emailed several volunteer coordinators and few, if any, have surveyed their volunteers in the past. If anyone knows of a race that surveyed their volunteers, I would greatly appreciate the heads-up!

Thanks so much!

Liz

minimalism with caution

Did you notice it got better or worse while easing into the Vibrams? I've had piriformis syndrome for at least 20 years (and I'm 29) and while I don't notice it as a runner, I do during regular life. I've been thinking of trying minimalist shoes due to shin and knee pain but hadn't come across any references to the piriformis yet.

Thanks so much!

Re: Ann Arbor Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Reviews

I did not have my dogs with me, but when we've run races together before, we're always at the back, and that's just fine with me!
