The Admirals Inaugural season was an enormous success and we feel proud of all the achievements we have accomplished as an organization, but most important the accomplishments that were achieved at the individual player level. Our success this past season was driven by enhancing the skill level of every player at all levels. This was accomplished through all the hard work our coaching staff provided, as well as the individual attention they supplied to each player during the season. We have seen tremendous improvements from all of our players and take pride in these accomplishments. We also would like to acknowledge the team achievements that were made this season:

- Midgets U18 – Gold Medal winner CAN/AM tournament Lake Placid NY

- Mites – Silver Medal winner CAN/AM tournament Lake Placid NY

- Bantam ’96 – Silver Medal winner CAN/AM tournament Lake Placid NY

Congratulations to all the players and families on their achievements. CAN/AM is considered an elite tournament and these accomplishments are a very tough task, we should all be proud.

We know there are some concerns or roomers regarding the recent management changes at the rink and the impact it may have on the Admirals organization. We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support we received the past few weeks and would like to address these concerns and let everyone know that the changes will not have an impact on our organization or our future success. Paul, Rob and Stan will remain in charge of the Admirals organization, today and into the future.

The Admirals remain fully committed with continuing the success that the Admirals teams have accomplished this past season. Any concerns about where we are going to be playing next year is not an issue, the new management at the rink has acknowledged that we have a contract and we will be playing out of Gold Coast Arena the same as we did last year.

Game/practice slots and clinics have all been confirmed by the rink. The theory about not being able to coexist with the Eagles is also a non issue as well, as that was also accomplished last season.

We continue to believe in our organization and also value the support we have received from all our families. There are good things to come with the Admirals and we are very excited about our future.

We firmly believe that it’s not where you play the game of hockey but what matters is who will be sharing this hockey experience during your child’s development, we are a hockey family. The family bonds and friendships that were created this past season, will last a life time. Last year we made a commitment to each family that signed on with the Admirals and we want you to have comfort in knowing we have not lost sight of that commitment.

Our momentum will continue into next season and we will always be available to answer any questions or concerns you might have about the Admirals organization. As always, our lines of communication are open. We will be announcing our 2011/2012 coaching staff this Friday and look forward to seeing you at try-outs.
