When I get out of bed, I just don't feel like doing it. I was really lazy over Labor Day weekend, taking 6 days off from running. Shame on me!

I ran last Thursday and then today was my first day back. I managed to get in 2.03 miles in 25:43...once again I'm up above 12:30min/mi...I really want to get my pace under 12 mins...that's kind of my goal at this point...I want to be able to make my running run around 3 miles and do it in 33-35 minutes...

Happy running, y'all!

I don’t think my legs are fully recovered. My pace was pretty lousy and it was kind of a struggle. I only managed to get in 2.05 miles in 26 mins 30 secs. That put my pace at 12:56/miles. Still, I’m not complaining. I’m running in a new location and getting used to it, plus there’s some hills. Hopefully, I'll be better prepared for my next hilly 5K, plus I'll save about 20 mins in the morning from the drive to/from downtown.

I'm concerned about visibility so I purchased one of these that I'll wear so I don't get run over.

http://www.runningwarehouse.com/descpage-ARX.html[/URL" target="_blank">

Hehe.

My time was 37:43 which was 2+ minutes better than my most recent 3mile training run. So I have nothing to complain about. I think I could have done better but the first half of the race was uphill, with the first third being very steep.

The weather was nice, it was about 76 degrees which is the coolest it's been around here in a month or two.

Hope you all have an awesome week 9.
