(i'll be 55 soon). in my workouts i generally walk with short spurts of running. but i can walk on the fast side, about 14-14:30 pace with walk paces down to about 11:00. i would like to be more of consistent runner but can't sustain the run for long. i run a few 5Ks each year but don't run consistently in my exercise routines.

does anyone have any suggestions to keep up the slow pace with running? i think slow running still beats fast walking...hang in there everyone and let me know your thoughts. good thread!
