Traffic wasn't managed well at all, and that's probably a big part of the problem. But the organizers should have communicated to the racers more clearly, and we would have been more understanding. It started more than 35 minutes late; there was scant food and only one water stop; the race "packet" seemed pretty anemic, given the $50 entry fee; the announcers were irritating enough to nearly incite mutiny. RunTex usually puts on great events, but not this time.
