      <title>Anyone starting C25K in late Sept?</title>

I am wanting to up my walking. After my 50th birthday and weighing in at 250+ at my Dr. Appt. I felt unless I wanted to become diabetic &amp;amp;amp; old before I was ready, I had to do something. I started walking daily this summer and was going 3-4 miles most days.       <title>50 and over, 5k and beyond - what are your challenges?</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:3f2d2e05-c524-40e0-a840-56a5d84cef01] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;When I got home, my feet were sore, which surprised me because they didn't hurt when I was running and they've never bothered me before.&amp;#160; Then, the discomfort (wouldn't really call it pain) moved up to my knees, again which didn't bother me during the run, but they responded nicely to a couple of ice packs.&amp;#160; That night and into the next day my hips started to get sore, and they responded well to some foam rolling and ibuprofen.&amp;#160; Since it seemed that everything was moving upward I was half expecting a headache, but luckily that didn't happen and I had a good 5 mile run last night.&amp;#160; The first 1/4 mile last night I felt a little like the tin man, all sore and creaky, but warmed up pretty quickly.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:3f2d2e05-c524-40e0-a840-56a5d84cef01] --&gt;</description>
