      <title>Plantar Fasciitis</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:8529bf46-cbac-4598-b82f-64fa884d903c] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've only just started running (this is my second week of C25K).&amp;#160; After running yesterday morning, this morning I woke up with pain in my heels.&amp;#160; After consulting Dr Google it seems like a textbook case of plantar fasciitis.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm just wondering how I should address it.&amp;#160; From what I've read, rest, ice, stretching and new shoes are obvious first steps.&amp;#160; However it's unclear to me how LONG I need to rest.&amp;#160; Before this problem cropped up, I was planning to run again tomorrow morning.&amp;#160; If my heels feel fine tomorrow, should I run?&amp;#160; I obviously don't want to make it any worse and I'm hoping that treating it at this early stage means I can prevent it from turning into a major problem.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any advice would be gratefully received.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Prue&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:8529bf46-cbac-4598-b82f-64fa884d903c] --&gt;</description>

      <title>New years resolution jumpstart!</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:5a8f755f-12f9-4287-9869-284acbc5cb74] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hi, I started C25K last week too.&amp;#160; I did W2D2 today and I'm really enjoying it so far, which was a pleasant surprise since I've spent a lot of time in the gym recently lifting weights and not a lot of time doing cardio.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My background: I'm 31 living in Perth, Australia.&amp;#160; I used to run in high school and really enjoyed it.&amp;#160; As I got older and got a sedentry job the kilos have crept on.&amp;#160; I don't have a lot to lose (maybe 8kg) but I'm getting close to the unhealthy weight range for my height which bothers me.&amp;#160; My fiance and I have a lot of travel booked in the next six months (five weeks in New Zealand over Christmas and then six weeks travelling in March-April) so keeping up a gym routine is going to be impossible.&amp;#160; Runnin appeals because I can throw my shoes in the suitcase and can run anywhere &lt;img height="16px" src="http://community.active.com/4.5.5/images/emoticons/happy.gif" width="16px"/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Oh and I've signed up for the Color Run in Perth on 17 February 2013!&amp;#160; I want to run the whole thing if I can.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Nice to meet you both, hopefully we get some more &lt;img height="16px" src="http://community.active.com/4.5.5/images/emoticons/happy.gif" width="16px"/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Prue&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:5a8f755f-12f9-4287-9869-284acbc5cb74] --&gt;</description>
