I try it out and like it and keep it up when I can. I make it to the gym about 3-4 times a week, but don't have anyone to do my cardio with( I have crazy inconsistent hours). My goal as a new runner was to easily run a mile and be on the treadmill with an incline of between .5 and 2 (I vary it) and a speed between 3.7 (walking) and 5.2 (running). Can't really go faster than that just now. So I've got the mile run down, with walking before and afterward, but can't seem to progress further than that...and not b/c of stamina, but because I'm finding myself bored running. My gym has a theater room ans shows movies which has made it interesting to a point, but I'm still bored. How can I get past this hump? I'd like to get myself to run 2-3 miles at a clip.
