I think it's taking people while to find the way "in" so to speak.

It's certainly not very user intuitive or friendly, is it?

Anyway....

I'm in, but I wasn't a huge huge poster before. I think it's interesting seeing/watching everyone's different reactions to the change. Some are a bit ummmmmm "caustic" is the word I'd pick.

I'm just thankful that I'll have a day or two "down" time over the holiday. I will likely lose a bit in the pool due to lack of access, but I'll use the time to be more consistent in my running. I need to get the fun back in the running, and for me, that means starting to develop some drops in times. I know I'm not going to be FAST, or even close to fast, but If I can consistently hit 12 min miles...I"ll be happy, especially if I can hold those for the half that I'm doing in Jan. AFter that, it's master's swimming.....after that is my first tri. We'll see if I can pat my head and rub my tummy on that one.

Hey, ya'll. I absolutely HATE this site. It is SLOW! The log sucks! Everytime I turn around, I am having to log back in! What the he!! is the deal with all of this white!

Anyway, I am a Bitter Betty right now. I think it has something to do with my lack of training. I am grouchy and grumpy...I just can't seem to get re-motivated after my last race of a couple of weeks ago. I am about ready to admit defeat and start over in Jan.

Hey-I have an idea...but I may need some "talking down." I saw a post earlier and convinced my dad "something" might be a good idea. I think he took a bite...I wonder if CS would approve or get out the wooden spoon...

I'm finding it incredbily hard to to navigate from Active Home to Cool Running. Bookmarks are a work around, but it seems like there should be either a Cool Running button on the home page, or under Community. (Am I just not seeing it?)

I had digits added to my screenname, too... but since I didn't really believe there were 43 other people with my screenname, I went back and signed in under my Active account... and, yep, I was the other TriAndStopMe... just under a different email address. I think I'd set it up back in August when we first got wind of the merger.

Boy, it's awfully BRIGHT in here. The text editor looks more powerful, but I'm still missing "home."

Remind me... what was the intended upside of the merger? Better text editor? A search function? I would have been happy to make do with the old.

I'm sure folks behind the scenes are working super-hard to make this work... and the effort is appreciated. I just miss our old virtual living room.

Good lord this board is annoying!

Asking me to log in every time I have to fumble around trying to find it again. Dumps me into Active Trainer about every other mouse click. Sigh

I don't mind change but this just feels broken.

Hello from the great, white, frozen north. 9:30 estimates in my town were 11 inches. Snow is expected to continue falling all through this afternoon and into this evening. expected storm totals @15 inches. Winds 25-35 mph steady. Can't see a **** thing for all the snow and blowing snow. Went out and attempted to shovel. Hahahahahahahahaha! Stuff falls/blows right back.
