I have action, archive, and hold folders and my emails are immediately filed to one of those folders as soon as I read it. It's the only way I can keep track of what I actually need to do, because I get most of projects through email.

I used to just have an inbox, but I got overwhelmed, and now I get twitchy if there is anything in my inbox at all...I've really become a little organizationally obsessive !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|border=0!.

It is recommendation letter season, so I felt the pinch yesterday when trying to find emails from students and the schools they were applying to.

If not, the link Dervin posted really does have some useful info. I like the 4 D's method, and that's pretty much what I do.

too bad they didn't report herd characteristics, it would be interesting to know if population and demography trends/traits are also different...

Same here, except my "require action" is up to about 70 or so this week - there's been a lot of meetings and I haven't been able to get caught up.

When I get to 100, I'm panicking. Less than 10, I start wondering if I have any vacation days left.
