Well, I think I have no other choice from what I read :-)

I will now have to convince the editor-in-chief to finance part of the trip and find generous sponsors for the other part.

How many American marathons start and finish by a monument commemorating Belleau Wood (among other places), run past places honoring Lafayette and L'Enfant, and are organized by General Lejeune's descendants? Bienvenue, les marathoniens français!

Absolutely, the MCM is a wonderful marathon. Chicago is fun, so is Niagara (although it's a small marathon.) Good luck!

Hi, I'm a French freelance sports writer for a magazine (Jogging International) and a website (http://www.wanarun.net). I'm "tired" of reading every years the same articles about NYC marathon, as if it was the only one run in the USA (as seen from France) and I intend to run another marathon in the USA next fall (provided I find the necessary budget ...). Would you recomment me Marine Corps Marathon ?
