It allows you to see much more scenery and balances out the workout to the legs. I also use Tae Kwon Do. Either that or a new event for some kind of bizarre, urban strong man competition. It lengthens and strengthens muscles simultaneously. I feel great after a session on the rock. I also look forward to my weekly soccer games, although it's a little harder on the knees on the FieldTurf. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you can, maybe mix in some sprints on the sand. My softball coach used to take us to Loyola beach at the end of practice in the fall and just drill us.
