Bummer! The hand doc says I have moderate arthritis of the left thumb. It's really the base of my thumb, leading into the wrist bone. Cycling is pretty hard on it, to the point I try to control the bike with my right hand.

Squeezing the brake is especially hard! So on top of the pain, it's not particularly safe, and it's not so good for my right hand! Has anyone successfully managed to continue riding with a condition like this? What sorts of accommodations have your found to make riding more bearable?

Thanks,

Ohmykins
