After the upgrade I lost e-mail notification and the ability to apply to posts. Contacting active.com support by phone and e-mail produced no help. I e-mailed a moderator (dwm082) in hopes I might get someone to respond to me. This moderator promptly responded even though this is not part of his role and suggested I try using Internet Explorer for a browser if i wasn't already. I always use Mozilla so I tried the idea and I was able to repsond to posts. I still however am not recieivng e-mail notifications though listed beneath "Your Email Notifications" it has listed running and penquins. I also want to know why the penguins (slow runners) isn't listed under Communities.

If anyone has any ideas for me i'd like to try thm out; browsing through all the running posts for penguin posts is geting old.

The response basically suggested I was running an old version of IE and to upgrade and check my settings. I'm running IE8 and I work in deskside support so I'm pretty up-to-date.

My second email went out 10/11, so I expect I'll hear from them soon.

Len

The moderation queue has been visible to me consistently, but it still has a dozen "phantom" moderation items. I can see it whether I'm at home (Macbook Pro running OS X 10.6.8 and Firefox 7.0.1) or at work (Dell Dimension of some sort running Windows XP Pro SP3 and Firefox 7.0.1 I think). I wonder what's different about our accounts that I can see the queue and you can't.

I agree completely about anonymous/Guest posts.

Don

I haven't gotten one to work yet.

- Navigation is still an issue.

- "Guest" can now post. I don't like the idea of anonymous posts. There needs to be accountability In cause of abusive posts.

Len
