@lenzlaw: hope the marathon is as fantastic as the MCM. The San Diego marathon registration had been postponed two times. Not so great...

Just checking in to see if my account still works. I'll be running again. Al Richmond, Matt Jaffee and I had the honor of being inducted into the Hall of Fame last year. That was quite a thrill for mid-pack (now back-of-the pack) plodders. All 4 of the Ground Pounders are entered. Sometimes I wonder if we own the Streak or if it owns us. :-)

It's always good to hear from an old friend. It's too bad you can't make it to MCM. San Diego sounds good though. Plus I have heard good things about their marathon.

Hi :-)

Have not been around for quite some time and it was a nice surprise to see so many of you still active in this community.

Just yesterday I signed up for the San Diego Marathon, which will be held in June 2012.

Was hoping to find a nice community for that Marathon too.

But -of course- there is just no community like the Marines Corps Marathon community and you all :-)

Wish I could be running the MCM this year, but I have not been training in the last months. (I did however fall in love with a guy in San Diego, lol).
