Coldest it gets is a little lower than freezing in the ASU local.
Hottest can be around 118 F or above.

Yes and no.
Yes, we have dry heat... but we also have intermittent rain during the hottest months - which increases the humidity.

Landscaping has imported many allergens. In the "old" days folks with lung problems used to come to Arizona for the clean air. At this time the air is worse, and many more are worse off than before they moved.

Arizona,
LDM is next Sunday 2/19 - they have a marathon, half, 10K, 8K desert trail and a 2 mile fun run/walk. We ran the 8K trail last year, lot of fun, not hard.

You saw them in "Jerry MaGuire", correct ?
When they were filming at Goldfield mining town ?
That's Syphon Draw in the background with the STEEP trail up to the Matterhorn and another way up to the Rim Trail;
instead of starting at Carney Tank - STEEP there too !.

Anyone tried jogging the Lost Goldmine Trail ?

"INSIDER TIP: For a shorter outing that showcases the most scenic part of the hike, start at the Hieroglyphic Canyon Trailhead and go east about 5.5 miles to the Lost Goldmine Trailhead. Another benefit to skipping the western half of the trail is that you'll avoid the section that passes through the housing development, an odd and esthetically incongruous part of the trek.

To reach the Hieroglyphic Canyon Trailhead, take U.S. 60 east to Kings Ranch Road, between mile markers 202 and 203, and turn north. Proceed 2.8 miles, then turn east on Baseline Road. Go 0.2 mile and turn north on Mohican Road. Drive 0.3 mile, turn west on Valley View Drive and follow it 0.5 mile as it meanders northwest and changes to Whitetail Road. At Cloudview Avenue, turn east and go 0.5 mile to the parking area."

I'll try to remember to offer - here on COOLRunning - to be a "running buddy" in the upcoming races in which I haven't entered. We have two more coming up near us - the Lost Dutchman and Valley of the Sun. Keep me in mind.

I was a (8 1/2 minute mile) Pacer for two miles in the Half last year. I think from miles: nine to eleven.

I watched from the ASU Activity Center yesterday.
