Join the MLAB Houston Lighting Select Softball team today!!!

The Houton Lightning Softball team is a self funded travel ball tournament team in the Spring/Woodlands/Tomball area. We are part of the Major League Academy of Baseball organization. We have our own private indoor facilty and full practice field. The MLAB family has been successful for many years coaching a variety of traveling baseball teams and decided to expand its family in early 2012 to include girls travel softball. At MLAB, we strive to prepare these young players with not only the tools they need to be competitive on the field but also off the field. Discipline, sportsmanship and honor are key components of our programs. With that we work hard to instill the proper mechanics and skills into your young children that will allow them to easily transition into and compete at the varsity ranks when their time comes.

We just completed our inaugural season by taking 4th place in the USFA Western Nationals in Longview, TX and we are now looking to gear up for next season. We are looking to fill both a 10U and a 12U team for the 2012/2013 travel ball season. We will be looking for players of all positions... Pitchers, Catchers, Infield, Outfield... All skill levels welcome!!!

The first tryout will be held at 10:00AM on August 4th at the MLAB Houston Lightning Facility located at 3332 Spring Stueber Rd, in Spring, TX. Bring your glove, bats and have both cleats and tennis shoes.

A second tryout date will be announced soon, so if you can not make it August 4th you will have another opportunity.

If your daughter was born between the year of 2000 - 2003 and ready to take their game to the next level come on out and take part!!!
