The Texas Heat 99 team will be holding tryouts for their 2012-2013 season. All positions are open and will be earned by hard work. The coaches are committed to building a team that is strong and competitive. We are looking for dedicated girls and parents to join our team. Our goals include preparing the girls for playing in high school and college and competing at the highest levels. The Heat organization is affiliated with ASA and we plan to compete at that level.

We will look at 98's and 99's for the team and all positions are open for evaluation. We're looking for players with a strong work ethic in practice and games with a positive attitude and who will work on their own outside of these venues.

The Texas Heat tryouts and practices will be held at Kingwood Girls Softball Complex at 4302 Woodland Hills Dr Kingwood TX.

Tryout dates are scheduled for August 18th 10am-12pm on field 3.

Winning is an important part of our organization, but in no way our only emphasis. The Heat firmly believes that our primary responsibilities to our athletes are to:

Provide safe, disciplined and structured environments in both training and competition.
Establish positive relationships and respect between the players, their families, and the coaches.
Train our athletes at the highest level possible with the primary performance objective of high-level team and personal success.
