I get up pretty early to report to my National Guard job. so it's been a long day.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Rich, yes, PF is one of the bad ones, but you should fare better than I have. As a classroom teacher I couldn't stay off my feet, so my PF has just hung around for years.       <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:ac70286c-3ce0-4485-8e77-69a4ba146daf] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks Ray.&amp;#160; It's weird how an injury can sneak up on us sometimes.&amp;#160; I had pain in my heel before it got so bad I couldn't run, but I didn't recognize it for what it was, I actually thought I'd bruised my heel or it was just tender from all the miles I was running.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyway, from the research I've done, you can re-injure the Plantar Fascia by walking barefoot while it's trying to heal and every time you do, you make more scar tissue.&amp;#160; That in turn, makes it more susceptible to an injury in the future.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I can see why D.H. has fought this injury for so long, when I told my coaching buddy what I'd done, he said, "uh oh, that's one of the bad ones, see you in the spring."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Oh yeah, you ran a good race yesterday, congrats.&amp;#160; And your wife cracks me up, goes off course and still finishes second...lol&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:ac70286c-3ce0-4485-8e77-69a4ba146daf] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:4852e47c-4cc4-41d8-8834-2516c2cdfde8] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Rich, I definitely know where you're coming from.&amp;#160; I was unable to run from mid-July 2011 until Christmas.&amp;#160; We don't normally where shoes in the house, but I couldn't walk w/o shoes.&amp;#160; Had a pair just dedicated for walking in the house.&amp;#160; I am much more aware now of how bad an achilles problem can be...Fortunately I have no experience with PF.&amp;#160; Did learn to embrace the cross training for 6 months.&amp;#160; It's not fun.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Did a short 4 mile recovery run today in the rain, time 36:56 (9:14/Mile).&amp;#160; Calves are sore, will need to roll them out tonight.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ray&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:4852e47c-4cc4-41d8-8834-2516c2cdfde8] --&gt;</description>
