Houston Lighting Girls Fast Pitch 10u/12u Tournament Teams

The Houston Lightning are part of the MLAB (Major League Academy of Baseball) family. MLAB has an established program for youth select and elite baseball, and are in their second year running softball teams. MLAB currently has a 10u and 12u team participating in both USFA and ASA sanctioned events in and around the Houston area. MLAB is not a win at all cost organization. Our program is built around player development and growth. Our belief is that if a player is correctly taught the principles and fundamentals of the game winning will take care of itself.

The Houston Lightning have their own dedicated practice field and indoor practice facility located in the Spring, TX area,

that is open to each and every player whenever it is not occupied for team practices.

We offer a variety of private hitting, pitching, catching and fielding lessons.

We are currently working to develop our program and teams so that our players can continue to grow and play together for seasons to come.

For our 10u team we are looking for solid, dedicated players born in 2002 with consideration being given to strong players born in 2003.

Our 10u team is in need of experienced bracket pitchers and various infielders.

For our 12u team we are looking for dedicated players born in 2001.

Our 12u team is in need of left side infielders and catchers.

All players regardless of age must be willing to work and put forth the effort to grow and mature with the game.

During the month of December we will be holding open practices for those interested in coming out to check us out and participating in a practice or two.
