This makes the 50's with rain at the end in Bellingham seem balmy. Way to hang tough. Now have a hot toddy!

Brrrrrrr! I'm with Dark Horse, I try not to run in rain and wind. Brrrrrr! You're one tough chik - and I think you exemplify the whole lunachik concept! Nice for C-boy too. He's a great kid. Big congrats to you and seeboy, and I trust you have both warmed up by now. A nice mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows usually does the trick for me, and when it doesn't, I have a second mug.

I never run in cold, rain, or wind when I can possibly avoid it.

WOW!!!! JUST, WOW!!!! & I watched lotsa trash bags go by....... I wasn't running - just support team for this year! - I was supposed to have another obligation, but got snowed out! I did the kids run thingy & Expo (bought more shoes!) on Sat am
I dunno about the 'best' wp running jacket - I have this North Face tech/combo jacket It's lighter weight, water resistent & vented....

Cold is not so bad, but wet and cold is the worst. Way to tough it out!

I have a running rainjacket by Marmot. I think it's this one:

It's very lightweight, and has vents I can unzip if I start getting too warm, but when it's cold I can layer a couple of shirts under it. I bought it for just the sort of weather you're talking about here.
