I took three years of classical Latin, but I usually cut people some slack when it comes to plurals and all that stuff. But I'll admit that it does make me cringe when someone says "I'm an alumni of such-and-such." It'd be better to just shorten it to alum IMO.

I blame a neurotic condition called overthinking. I was away from CR for a bit, started posting on KR, meant (and often did) come back to CR to respond to an RR ... then decided against it because I hadn't responded to someone's RR and so how could I respond to this one ... and then there were more RRs and I'd get further behind and ...

Does anyone else have what I'll call a creative block -- kind of a writer's block -- where you just can't seem to put together the words you're searching for? That also happens to me from time to time.

I have been injured for a while, but I actually haven't been too down about it. I've found a new workout "love" in rowing, realized I don't really hate the pool after all, and have spent more time focusing on good nutrition. The rehab regime has also taken a lot more of my time than simply running, so that has been a factor, though not a major one.

I feel pretty comfy now in KR; not that I didn't feel comfy here (there's that overthinking problem). There's a lot to the KR site in addition to the Masters section that I enjoy.

I'll probably scatter my scattered self here and there. Oh, but I would like to keep an eye on that 50s thread wherever it may go. I can see 50 from here; obtaining membership into that club is a perquisite for those reaching that milestone.

And thanks mark for pointing out that Update to me, too. I hadn't noticed. Suppose I have tunnel vision on this forum, as well as most other websites. I don't notice anything other than what I'm looking for.

I'm a CR refugee from when RW changed format a year or so ago. I liked who I found here right away.

Hi guys,

Just as an FYI, Yes, you register, but then your account has to be manually activated.

I am the one who does that, but my job takes me on the road about half the time,, so often I wont get to it till evening. But you should never have to wait any longer than 24 hours, tops! (Usually much less then that)

SLOjim, sorry for the difficulties yesterday. Glad we were able to get it going again for you.

Oh, and did want to mention, that if you registered more then 90 days ago and havent used your account, it automatically goes into "Inactive" status and you cant post. You will have to contact us to put it back into "Active" status' so it can be used. All that takes is an email to us, using the "contact us" link.

If you have any problems, be sure to use the "contact us" link on the front page. I get those too, and will respond as quickly as I can.

I went over and looked at kickrunner last week, because I heard some of our missing runners are over there now. I saw 15 different forums, but none of them was called the Masters Club. And we are beta testing the Kickrunners Running Log as we speak - Whilst it won't be "active" before D Day, hopefuly it will be working (and importable from the excel download of your CR log) within a very short space of time.
