I have had good luck with Brooks shorts or the race ready ones.

But I am really tempted to get a running skirt. Even if the liner bunches up, you are still covered by the skirt part.

Problem is they are expensive.

Have you considered men's champion shorts? They seem to be cut fuller in the leg and do not bunch up either. My champion ones are probably 10 years old.....They are my all time favorites.

I have lso found that if you let your shorts sag in the front they do not bunch up as much...maybe it puts more fabric into the rise of the shorts???

You'll have to try on a bunch and find what fits your body. Everyone is different. I personally have 2 pairs that I like.

Seconding the Brooks shorts.

I tried a running skort... worked AWFUL for me. Chafed worse than normal shorts-- It bunched up in the middle and was harder to keep down. Eck,

Running skirts are great. I have one made by Hind. It has bike shorts underneath. No more bunching up!

Nike makes some flattering women's running shorts that don't bunch up. They don't give the "balloon waist" effect either.

Both are pricey, but money well spent.

Female. Thanks for the suggestion PCS. I need something a little more flattering than bike shorts at this point!! Maybe the ones that are liek regular shorts plus built in bike shrots would work.

I run in bike shorts. The kind I get don't have too thick of a bike-pad so they're not annoying in that way - and I do Tri's so I need to get used to it. Big Sizes

So which ones are good? It is getting hot out and I need some great new running shorts that won't ride up and will provide decent coverage without being too granny.
