Please don't feel you are a person without a home here and I really do hope to see you post often. There are always people starting C25K and striving to do what we all did in that program. I hope people realize that sub groups like 1/2 marathon training and The Long Haul are not exclusive and are not closed to new folks. All are welcome. The Long Haul started as a C25K group but has grown, I am not a member of the original group. Check us out, we are slightly dysfunctional but get along fine. We are just runners in it for"The Long Haul". Perhaps start your own group of HHST graduates?

Mike

At the same time, I'm starting my next phase: half marathon training, as of tomorrow. The NYC half is exactly 3 months from today, and I've entered the lottery. I hope like heck I get in! Anyway, I just wanted to pop in one last time and thank you all so much for your support. Like you my PF does much better the more miles I put on. Unfortunately I notice it much more this week. I have not been unable to run due to my ankle and my PF has been much worse. I am dying here and need to be back in running shoes soon. I am so jealous of you people who are not injured!!!

I hate to rant and complain but this is my first injury since running. In the past if I started exercising all I took was one missed work out and I come up with 1,000 excuses why I can not exercise. Now it is different, I am a runner and what I do is run. It kills me for every day I miss a run. I will be trying to run again tomorrow and I will schedule enough time to do a 6 miler, unfortunately I have also schedule a route where at any time I can within a 1/2 mile call it quits and go home. I will report later on how it goes fellow runners. Wish me well.....

Mike
