I have an elliptical, and on the days I don't do walk/run intervals (I'm a newbie who's building up towards running), I use the elliptical machine. I was wondering if working out on the elliptical strenthens the muscles that support the knee joint? If so, I may increase the # of days I do elliptical...

TIA!
