We will all await your triumphant return to running. I haven't heard of those inserts but there are a lot of them on the market. I apparently have a very high arch and stiff feet, so he suggested inserts called arch rivals. My feet do go off to the outside when I run, so I wear neutral running shoes. But he feels with the additional help of these inserts it will help avoid further problems with both my feet. Has anyone heard of or use these "arch rivals" inserts?

KEEP ON RUNNING!!:)

Carey

I am in a boot and using crutches right now, and will be off the crutches in a few days when I can walk in the boot with minimal to no pain. And then out of the boot when pain is completely gone. I am allowed to resume mild jogging when I have no pain, and have gotten the ok to race the 4th if I wrap my foot good, and go slow, and have no pain!! So we'll see how it goes. I am definitely not going to do anything too soon. Thanks for all the well wishes and advice!!

KEEP ON RUNNING!!

Carey

I too feel that something has torn. The bruising has gotten worse, but the swelling has gone down a little. The area where it is still a little swollen is quite hard! Definitely concerned so I am getting it checked out. I have another race in 19 days, and one the week after that. But I have a very sick feeling that I am not going to be able to run those!!:(

KEEP ON RUNNING!!

Carey
