I completed it in 2:44 for a 12:32 avg pace! I took several walk breaks starting at mile 7. I can see that I need to work on a hydration plan and perhaps plan on taking in some food on my next long sunday run, which is supposed to be 15 miles. What do you guys do for food and water? I run with a 32oz fuel belt but that was gone around mile 10! Any advice would be great. I saw my personal strength and conditioning coach (e.g. my great friend, Bill who has a degree in sports science) and he said I needed to start lifting legs if I wanted to get faster. I told him I didn't have time and he made me agree to two days a week. Day 1 was today.
