I had a great time at the race.... I did get confused as I thought I was running the 1 mile and ended up doing the 8K. It was tough as I am not a runner but I felt a great sense of accomplishment as I finished. I made some new friends and look forward to all of our efforts getting us all closer to a cure for all types of cancer. Bless you all and see you next year!

Hey! Where are the results.........this happened to me last week at the Creekwalk 5K in Prattville....girl at the finish line dropped the tags and I enbded up with a posted time 5 and a half minutes behind my actual time. Quite frustrating!!

Could you post a link to the results....they are not on run42k or the BTC site

This was our first time to participate and were very impressed and how organized the event was. Brenda Ladun and Siran Stacy were very inspirational. We will definetely do this event next year. Great cause and was lots of fun.

Loved the course, very pretty and challenging! Very well organized event. My favorite part was the accordion and guitar player around mile 4, thank you for being out there on a cold damp morning, you were awesome!!! I'll definitely do this race again!

WOW !!! What a great race!!! The new course is beautiful and fun. St. Vincents One Ninteen opened its doors and made us feel welcome. Lots of food. The race director is ABC 33/40's Brenda Ladun, who is my hero. A cancer survivor herself, she has chosen to live her life by the title of her book "Get Better, Not Bitter". This run is a great way to honor everyone who has fought the good fight against this dreaded disease, and to support the American Cancer Society. We are already looking forward to next year.

A beautiful course with nice post-race support. Would like to have had timers at the mile-markers~~even if a person with a stop-watch calling out the running time. Also~~some concerns about the tear-offs at the end. Several in my group still had their names/info remaining on the race numbers. Hoping when the results come in all is well.

Wonderful event. The 5 miles went by faster than I expected! The area was beautiful, and the people living there along with volunteers for the event were very encouraging! Can't wait til next year!

Great race......hills galore! Had a great run! Best tear off race I have run.....most tear off races I have run have had many problems....this one was staffed with pros. Great job!
