Team Fisher House is looking for runners who want to become “Champions for Military Families” at this year’s Marine Corps Marathon. We seek team members who will use creative and innovative ways to raise funds and awareness for the construction of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Fisher Houses:

Supporting America's military in their time of need, Fisher House Foundation provides "a home away from home" that enables family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful time -- during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.

Join Team Fisher House to use your good health and fitness to Honor Those Who Serve. Whether you require a race slot or are already registered, we welcome you. For those of you requiring a race slot, there is a $500 minimum fundraising requirement (August 1, 2010 deadline). Race slots are guaranteed for those runners who meet the $500 requirement by the fundraising deadline.
