Advice for a good cold weather running shoe

Anyone have a recommendation on what is a good cold weather running shoe? I live in the Northeast US (Putnam County NY- about 100 miles north of NYC).

I'm training for my first 1/2 marathon in January, and want to get a good running watch. Any suggestions? I'd like one that I can set a timer to, clock distance and is there one that can measure my pace?

Good headphones for runners

My husband runs and he complains that none of the headphones he has are comfortable when he runs. Earbuds fall out. I am looking for any suggestions for decent headphones that are appropriate for a workout - under $100 if possible. Father's Day is right around the corner and this would be a good gift.

Looking for a new road bike--any suggestions

I have been riding a pretty beat up road bike for the past 3 years or so. It was my beginner bike and was great. Now I'm looking to get a new bike...still not keen on spending 1K. I would like to stay between $500 and $700 if possible (fingers crossed). I am a weekend rider. Maybe 40miles a week. I am short! 5'4'' with a short torso. In the summer months I do do the occasional century or sprint tri. Any suggestions!
