I would like to invite everyone to my new forum www.fastpitchforums.com This a joint venture with a couple other guys that already have successful other forums and wanted to break into the fastpitch scene. 12U Hudson Heat OPEN TRYOUT Looking for InFielders, Out Fielders, Pitchers and Catchers!!!!

The 12U Hudson Heat Gold Fastpitch Softball team based out of Hudson NH, is looking for quality players to help round out its team for the 2012 and 2013 season. The team is looking forward to a very exciting and competitive 2012 and 2013 season (last season the team had a lot of success in tournaments finishing 1st or 2nd in most of the entered tournaments). We focus upon teaching solid mechanics and techniques to the players to allow them to be more competitive and advance in the sprot of fastpitch softball. The Hudson Heat 12U team is looking for competitive players that will contribute to the teams success as it prepares for exciting Tournaments.

Practice/ Tryouts will be

Day: Saturday and Sunday

Date: August 25th and 26th
Time: 8 AM to 10:00 AM

We were looking for a fundraiser and came across a great one that worked well for us! It is selling those sports rope necklaces. The website is TitaniumTwisters.com

They have about 50 colors of rope to choose from and you can customize each individual necklace with whatever colors of rope you want. There are a bunch of sizes to choose from as well. You can buy product and re-sell it at tournaments etc or you can have your team go around and collect orders and then submit it all together etc. All of the information for their fundraising program is at:

You can go on that page and click on the "apply for fundraising code". They will email you your own fundraising discount code within a day or so and you are good to go. It was really easy and it worked great for our team. There was no minimum order quantity, so it could be used for small or large fundraisers. Our fundraising discount was 40%, so we sold them for full retail price and made $5 to $8 on each necklace/braceletthat we sold. Once we placed the order they had it assembled and in the mail within 3 days. It is a US company, so they are assembled and shipped from the US! Just thought I'd share this with everyone, as it was exciting to find a fundraiser that was different than the usual stuff. The kids absolutely loved these things since they could have them made in their specific favorite colors etc. Here is an example of one in the Catamounts colors:

Central Mass Thunder 18U will be hosting an 18u tournament the weekend of September 28-30. 2012 at the PAL complex in Plainville, MA.

The cost is $275 - teams pay umpires as you play. We are going to play 3 pool games seeded into single elimination on Sunday.

19th Annual Barbara Hamilton Memorial Invitation Tournament, Hudson NH

Barbara Hamilton Memorial Invitational Tournament Weekend will be July 27- 29 2012

The tournament is open to 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U fastpitch softball teams. Teams need to be registered under the ASA organization and have proof of insurance. This is a very successful and long standing tournament that offers very good competition. The tournament format will be a 4 game minimum format with pool play into a single elimination championship round. Player awards and team trophy will be presented to each division 1st and 2nd place teams.
