Looking over the results of Saturday's race and came across Mr. Ernie Grayson. He appears to be the oldest person in the race, 83 years young, and turned in a time of 1:52:00.

WOW!

Mr. Grayson, you are indeed an inspiration to me. I'm 62 and just started running seriously last year. I was wondering how long I could keep it up, how far I can go with it. I need look no further. Keep on racing and best of luck to you, sir! I'll be looking for your time next year.

Papa John Packet Pickup - Starting line

I've not run the Papa John 10 miler before. If I'm reading the information correctly, Saturday morning packet pickup is available at the Papa John stadium but the starting line is at 3rd and Central. Is there a shuttle that will bring us back from the start to Papa John? It looks like 2-3 miles from the stadium to the start line.

Found: Keyless device for Dodge Product during Anthem 5K

I found a keyless device for a Chrysler/Dodge product today during the 5K. I think it was dropped at about the 2.75 mile mark. I have it at home.

when do I need to put the tag on my shoe? Do I wait until the race starts, or can I do it before I get there? Do I need to tie a string to my number? It doesnt look like the back peels off to stick it on there ??

Are runners/walkers allowed to have dogs at the race? I couldn't find anything on the website about this.

It is considered cheating to stop during runs?

I just recently got to the point of running longer distances as I train for the tripple crown. I usually run about 4 miles when I train (that is where I am on my training schedule). However, I find myself needing to stop and walk for about 1 minutes about every two miles. I get very hot and sweat alot and it helps me cool down for a minute. I hope to build up so I can run even longer distances for the tripple crown, but am worried that it is not good that I have to stop like that. Is this normal and should I be able to run 4 or more miles without having to stop? Any comments or suggestions?
