I would like to invite everyone to my new forum www.fastpitchforums.com This a joint venture with a couple other guys that already have successful other forums and wanted to break into the fastpitch scene. We still have to put a skin on it and make it "pretty" but it is up and running. I am still adding to it and welcome your suggestions. We were looking for a fundraiser and came across a great one that worked well for us! It is selling those sports rope necklaces. The websiteis TitaniumTwisters.com

They have about 50 colors of rope to choose from and you can customize each individual necklace with whatever colors of rope you want. There are a bunch of sizes to choose from as well. You can buy product and re-sell it at tournaments etc or you can have your team go around and collect orders and then submit it all together etc. All of the information for their fundraising program is at:

You can go on that page and click on the "apply for fundraising code". They will email you your own fundraising discount code within a day or so and you are good to go. It was really easy and it worked great for our team. There was no minimum order quantity, so it could be used for small or large fundraisers. Our fundraising discount was 40%, so we sold them for full retail price and made $5 to $8 on each necklace/braceletthat we sold. Once we placed the order they had it assembled and in the mail within 3 days. It is a US company, so they are assembled and shipped from the US! Just thought I'd share this with everyone, as it was exciting to find a fundraiser that was different than the usual stuff. The kids absolutely loved these things since they could have them made in their specific favorite colors etc. Here is an example of one in Baltimore Orioles colors:

Angels Fastpitch is looking to fill roster spots for the 2011-2012 season. The team is looking for Sophomores and Juniors to develop and will consider a Senior with Showcase experience that had played on an A or Gold Showcase team. Tryouts are during team practices. Currently there are 3 Fall Showcases on the schedule with the possibility of adding 2 more- depending on SAT attendance - Please call for a tryout as we are currently in Myrtle Beach for the Nationals. This team has graduated players to the DI and DII college level with signed LIT. Currently our 2 seniors are verbally and visiting campuses to make decisions before November. We are looking for 2 experienced players to join the EMASS Panthers 18U at the World Series tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC from July 31-Aug 6. We are down a few players due to scheduling conflicts with players and are looking to bolster the roster. Plenty of playing time and the experience alone is worth the trip.

We will be staying at the Boardwalk hotel in Myrtle Beach which is right on the beach and less than a mile from the playing fields. This is an experience that you will not forget.

We are looking for a Middle Infielder and a versatile Catcher who can play other positions.

Don’t let this opportunity slip by.
