AtBats Training Center of Boxborough MA is offering slaphitting, power hitting, pitching, catching, and infield/outfield defensive lessons for all levels. We have the largest staff of professional softball instructors in the region.

Slaphitting

We are pleased to announce the addition of slaphitting instructor Jamie Millett to our staff. Coach Millett graduated from Merrimack College in 2011 after a stellar 4-year softball career, highlighted by a 2011 Div II Regional Championship. Coach Millett is currently the assistant coach for Simmons College, and specializes in slaphitting instruction, as well as power hitting and defensive skills instruction for infield and outfield.

Pitching

Several of our pitching instructors are available this summer including: Franklin Pierce University pitching coach Ashton Whidden, former Stonehill captain Kaitlin Andrews, and Leslie University pitching coach Janelle Iaquinto.

Hitting, Catching, and Defense

We have several options for hitting, catching, and defensive skills instruction. Our staff of instructors includes college coaches, high school coaches, and former college players. Please call us at 978-266-1766 for more information.

SUMMER CLINICS

10-15 years old

$150 per session

Coach Mark Hernandez will be leading this clinic and focusing on the fundamentals of fielding, throwing, footwork,

glove placement to help you progress in your game. Hitting will cover stance, swing, bunting and as always we work on the mental part of the game to help build self-confidence and esteem to become a better player, teammate and person.

Players will be placed by Coach in groups by skill level and age.

Clinic will be held outdoors at the McCarthy Field Complex in Medfield witha rain contigency indoors at Sluggers Academy.

Plenty of quality innings on a very visible and established 18U COLLEGE SHOWCASE TEAM.

You should have good location, above average speed and the desire to play on a high level and very visible College Showcase team. In return, we will showcase your skills at some of the finest tournaments, on the main playing fields and most importantly, in front of college recruiters and coaches for the ultimate in college recruiting opportunities.

Even if you have already committed we would still be very interested in speaking with you.

POSITIONAL PLAYER:

***ALL POSITIONS WILL BE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED***

STRONG OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE SKILLS ARE A MUST.

Power Hitter or athletic lefty slapper would be a plus.

Our Tournament softball program has been in the high level fast pitch tournament game for over 18 years now and are annually considered to be one of the more established, successful and visible teams and programs in the state....Dont you think its time to check it all out? We are a true College Showcase "TEAM" and Program. You must have tournament experience at a high level of play and/or College "Gold" Showcase tournament experience. You must want to compete against some the finest College Showcase teams in and around the New England area for the ultimate in college recruiting opportunities. Strong offensive and defensive skills are a must, a strong desire to succeed at the highest level of play and you must posess a "TEAM" comes first attitude.

Our 2013 College Showcase summer schedule will include some of the finest, higher profile College Showcase exposure tournaments within the New England area.

Mass Drifters 12U still looking for 2 position players for 6 upcoming tournaments - HOT HOT HOT!!!

The Mass Drifters program is based out of Taunton MA, and is seeking two players to complete its current 12u team.
The Drifters program has been in existence for 25 years, and it's history and heritage speaks for itself. With teams from 12u thru 23u elite, Drifter's legendary orange and blue can been seen at almost every tournament throughout the summer.

This 12U team has been together since September 2012 and has been very successful to date, recently Winning the Lowell ASA tournament and finishing 2nd in the Dracut Pony tournament. We have already played 40+ games with a potential of another 40+ to go until Aug 5th. We have 6 tournaments remaining as well as several scrimmage games scheduled against top programs around the state. Our remaining tournament schedule includes trips to Northern & Southern MA, RI, NY, MD & PA. We play in Pony, ASA & NSA tournaments.

We practice at Bristol Plymouth High School on Thursday evenings @ 5:30 PM and again on Sunday evenings at 4:30PM (non-tournament weekends only). We have a private facility in Taunton for hitting and indoor drills as well. We're not looking for superstars like other programs, but we are looking for an individual that embraces the team concept and give 100%. Player must be willing to learn and play multiple positions. Playing for this team is a commitment, but what you receive in return is a chance to play at the highest level against the toughest competition in New England while focusing on fundamentals, good sportsmanship, hard work and fun!

The North Shore Legends is well established softball program. We are currently looking for 1 player to round out our team. We will play a competetive tournament schedule, with six total tournaments throughout Massachusetts and NH.

Northeast Quicksilver has a opening for the 2013 season for a top notch pitcher as a result of a Winter sports injury. Tryouts will be scheduled on an individual basis to insure a comprehensive and fair evaluation.

The team had a very successful 2012 season. In eight tournaments last year the team finished lower than third place only once and finished 7th in the Montreal International Tournament which the team won in 2011.

Northeast Quicksilver has been in existence for 17 years and is coached by Paul Churchill who has developed numerous relationships with college softball coaches which have resulted in recruitment and ultimate attendance of its players consistently each year to Div 1, II and III college softball programs. So, if you are looking for many games, college exposure, top-notch competition at a very reasonable price - Northeast Quicksilver has it all !!!
