Has anyone run the Wild Life Marathon in Concord, MI (near Jackson)?

Help! I've been training diligently for my first marathon. It was supposed to take place in Harbor Springs, MI on October 9th. As of two weeks ago (I just found out today), they have now cancelled the marathon, and are now offering the half, 10k, 5k, and Kids Fun Run. Wow, I am bummed! Need to make a mental switch from running that race to finding another fall marathon in Michigan. I really was excited about the location of the run because of the beautiful scenery, running along the lakeshore.

I just found another marathon in Concord, MI called the Wild Life Run. Has anybody run this? Can you give me info on terrain? Is is rural road running? Trail? I would appreciate any info!

Thanks:-)
