High School Sophomore Lydiard Training

I ran XC last year as

a freshman and was pretty decent at it (11:30 2 mile pr) but quit late

into the season due to frustration at not improving as much as I wanted

to.

Now I'm playing soccer, and that's kept me in pretty decent

shape but running is my true love. My dad doesn't believe in not

finishing something I've started though, so I'm going to have to stick

with soccer the rest of the season.

Anyway, I've been reading

up on reading and after having weighed Daniels and Lydiard I've opted

Lydiard. I just want to know do you think training using Lydiards style

while playing soccer is going to lead to burnout, injury or anything

like that. Is it even a good idea?

I'm training for outdoor track btw, so the 7 month training program ends with the start of the season.

I

can currently run for about 40-50 minutes maximum in my current shape

if it matters, and I've been running 2 miles each day for the past one

and a half months.

A one minute trial will take you to the top of the list of health, fitness and sports experts

Run four steps forward and notice that you drop your feet behind to speed up and reach a level pace. Running cannot be done another way so it is the first irrefutable and observable science in health, fitness and sports. You can now let gravity do all the work of moving you forward to walk, jog, run and sprint. A sprinter goes through all four speed labels to reach top speed. The four speed labels are the same self transport movement at a variety of speeds. Walking can be seen as running slowly and sprinting can be seen as running very fast. Once and endorphin junkie always and endorphin junkie.

I have tapered way down since having children but used to go to the Y for the EFX machine and the AMT (great workout). The drive gets to me, and the time away from my family.
Off Season Training Program Help

I am planning to work on base and core, mainly. The problem is, my team kind of sucks and has no motivation. So how can I get them to attend, and make it fun? And what exercises should I use? I am going to do this for about 6 weeks over the summer.

btw weird new format for forums. i haven't been on here in a while

If that's what it is, which I/the Dr. are pretty sure; then if they cant go in and fix the tear they will remove the labrum totally. I asked the doctor if that would cause problems later in life for her since that is leaving her ball and socket pretty much bone on bone and he said that's what they dont know because it is a new procedure. Has anyone out there had the labral lining in their hip removed? And should I get a second opinion?
