I was wondering who took the slots for the various age groups for Cleawater from Vineman 70.3 (2009). Any place I could find them? Thanks!

Hi:

My name is Burt Baldo and I raced with bib # 1857. I had a flat about 3 miles into the bike leg. As I could not use my spare tubular (The valve extender was stuck), a man that was watching the race let me borrow his front wheel and kept mine. His friends were racing. We could not find each other at the end of the race and I still have his wheel. Does anyone know him?

There is an entry fee increase on April 1 for the Vineman Showdown. The current entry fee is $80 and will incease to $100.

What to wear? help an ironman 70.3 newbie!

This is my 1st attempt at an Ironman 70.3 and I'm not sure what to wear. A one-piece tri-suit makes the most sense but I am concerned about not being able to get it off quickly for a bathroom break. What do people think about wearing a one-piece for the swim/bike, then changing to looser clothes for the run? I really hate running with those tight bands on the leg from tri-suits... Keep in mind, I'm a newbie and expect to take 6-7 hours to finish the event. Thanks in advance! ?:|
