I would like to go to BUD/s. I met all the requirements and have taken the PST but I was talking to a NSW recruiter over the phone and he said that I would have to give up a rank in order to go. I have no problem with that but my question is if I go back down to E-4 will my reserve time count toward high year tenure. If so, is it possible to get a waiver for the duration of the pipeline

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Disregard, I got my answer

After I first experenced the pain I took 2 weeks off from running and I did Crossfit to help strengthen the area. The pain went competly away after about a week. Today I did a run and after about the second mile it started hurting again. I ship on the 24 of this month and I don't want to ship injured because that would be stupid. But on the 30th of this month I will have been in DEP for a year. Should I just not run until I ship or what are my options? Thanks

During my two weeks off I used a foam roller 3x a day and went in for a deep tissue massage which really helped. I was also using the PUMA LIFT shoes which could have caused this too. I am not a heel striker. I run POSE and have been to the CFE cert

Message was edited by: XhaksawX

Hardcore Workout Buddy

(Know of anybody?) I workout at the Pt. Loma 24hour Fitness and can workout either in the early mornings before about 8 or evenings after about 530. I would prefer a workout buddy who is a guy, simply because most gals can't hang or dont have the same goals that I do (but if you are a crazy lifting sista, then lets hit it!)

I typically work out 5-6 days a week, and my weight training sessions usually last about an hour and a half. Don't necessarily need a cardio buddy, but if you want one, I am up to it!!

Shoot me a line if you are interested!!

Nicole Sill

Interval training

I got a question for the INT training part for the running.

My mile and half Run time is 12.00 so my Intervals should be 1.56-2.01. This seems very slow to me.

I find it hard to pace myself and im pushing 100% on these interval runs, my time is actually 1.26/1.37 and my last Intervals are slower than my first intervals. The PTG says I should be negative splitting. Finishing faster than I start.

So my question is should I slow down? Or go as fast as I can on these INT runs?

I guess I should slow down but I would like clarification

Thanks
